Born in Florida, raised locally in North Carolina where my tattoo journey began 10 years ago. I specialize in Neo Trad, Traditional, and Blackwork. As Co-Owner of Gypsy Soul, I believe that tattoos and piercings are more than just body art - they are a form of self-expression and individuality. That's why we work closely with each customer to create a design that truly reflects their personality and style.

From my Grandmother, a passionate painter, to my Aunt, a creative jeweler, artistry runs through my veins. My journey through life's canvases took me from the tranquil shores of Emerald Isle to the bustling arts scene of Wilmington, NC, where I now reside and express my passion as a tattoo artist.

Hello, my name is William Owen, but you can call me “Doc”. I was born in California and raised in the desert of Nevada. I have had a love of art and tattoos from a young age, getting my first tattoo on my 16th birthday. From that day on, I was hooked. I joined the U.S. Navy out of high school and while serving I had covered my own body with American traditional tattoos. After gaining the experience of tattooing myself I had started my journey to wanting to be the best tattoo artist I could be. I currently specialize in American traditional and realism tattoos, but love creating all kinds of art and bringing them to life on the skin for you to love forever.

Born and raised in Alabama, but I have resided in NC for the past 6 years. I found my passion for tattooing through my parents' deep appreciation for traditional art and culture. This early exposure ignited a lifelong fascination with the art form, leading me to pursue a career as a tattoo artist.
While deeply rooted in the classic aesthetics of American Traditional tattoos, I embrace the ever-evolving landscape of tattoo artistry. I find inspiration in the continuous growth and expansion of the art form, constantly seeking new creative avenues and pushing my own boundaries.

My name is Michal (pronounced like Michael) and I was born in FL but have lived all over the east coast. I got into tattooing in 2021 because I couldn’t afford to get all the tattoos I wanted, since then it’s become a deep-rooted joy in creating things for others. I love being able to be a small part in the lives of others even with something as little as a tattoo (or a big one lol). Apart from that, I love to read and cruise around on my crotch rocket of a motorcycle.
